Arkansas Softball releases 2022 schedule

FAYETTEVILLE, Arche. – University of Arkansas head coach Courtney Deifel has announced the full schedule for the 2022 softball season. The Razorbacks are expected to play 55 total regular season games, including 31 at home at Bogle Park.

CALENDAR 2022

After opening the season at the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge (February 10-14) against a schedule yet to be determined, Arkansas hosts their home opener at 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 17, against Wichita State. Later in the week, the team plays five games as they host the Razorback Invitational (February 18-20) to start a three-week-long streak playing non-conference home tournaments. Illinois, Wichita State, Western Illinois and Longwood are the tournament grounds.

Arkansas welcomes Louisville at 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, in a stand-alone game before hosting the Wooo Pig Classic (February 25-27) later this weekend. Arkansas will face Nebraska and Southeast Missouri twice with just one game against Kansas. The Hogs face foe Central Arkansas State at Bogle Park for the first in a home series on Thursday, March 1 at 5 p.m. ET. Arkansas ends the weekend by hosting the Razorback Rumble (March 3-6) by playing two games against Missouri State, Kennesaw State and Kansas City.

The Razorbacks hit the road to Virginia for a single game against Liberty on Thursday, March 10 before playing five games at the JMU Dukes Invitational (March 11-13) in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Arkansas will face Maryland and Lehigh twice and host James Madison once.

Arkansas dives into the SEC game the following weekend on the road to Tennessee (March 18-20) before hosting their first SEC series against LSU (March 26-28). After a road series at Ole Miss (April 1-3), the Hogs travel to Conway to end the series at home midweek against Central Arkansas at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5.

The Hogs round out the conference by hosting Auburn (April 8-10), Kentucky (April 15-17) and South Carolina (April 29-May 1) and traveling to Florida (April 22-24) and Texas A&M (6-8 may) ).

Arkansas are expected to play 27 games against teams that qualified for the NCAA tournament last year. TV networks and start times will be announced at a later date.
