PHILIPPI – The Alderson Broaddus football team have announced their schedule for fall 2021.
The Battlers will play 11 regular season games, which will be their first full season under the direction of head coach Travis Everhart.
The Mountain East conference postponed the fall 2020 season, which shortened the season to spring 2021.
The AB have played four games this spring and four Battlers have been named to the All-MEC teams.
“I am excited for a full season and to see our growth as a football program“, Everhart said.
AB will kick off their fall 2021 road campaign in a non-conference game against Mercyhurst University on September 4.
The Battlers’ home opener takes place the following weekend, September 11, against West Liberty University.
The Battlers will travel to Wheeling University on September 18 and return home for a game against the University of Charleston on September 25.
The AB will face West Virginia State and Fairmont State on the road for consecutive weeks on October 2 and 9.
Reunion is slated for Oct. 16 when the Battlers take on Glenville State in the I-79 Barrel Classic.
On October 23, the Battlers travel to Buckhannon to face West Virginia Wesleyan.
The AB will open a two-week home game against Frostburg State and Concord on October 30 and November 6.
The Battlers will end their regular season with a road trip to College Notre Dame (Ohio) to face the Falcons on November 13.
