At Neston’s brand new location, the inaugural CWFL Link Up Neston High Monday Night Division match was between FC Catalyst and Red Cat FC.
Dave Forbes scored both goals for Red Cat in their 2-1 win with Mikey Webb scoring the retort for Catalyst. In the second game of the night, Neston Nomads Flexi FC beat Parklands 4-0 with goals from Reece Kerr, Ollie Dutton, Connor Horrigan and an own own goal.
At the CWFL Link Up Blacon High Monday Night division Jack Rowlands, Jordan Jones and Adam Ramsdale all found the net for FC UBER Flexi in their 3-0 win over FC Farndon. In the second game of the evening, Liam Clarke scored the only goal of the game for Ship Argyle FC in their 1-0 win over Hoole Rangers Flexi FC.
In the CWFL Link Up EPSV Monday Night Division Terry Watts 2, Eden Waine, Stu Jones and Adam Clarkson all scored for Ellesmere Port Villa in their 5-1 win over the Sutton Rangers who had Cameron Rennie on target. Phil Quilliam, Connor Howley and Jack Walker all found the net for TRIC in their 3-2 win over the Champs League Warriors who had Graeme Davidson and Matty Vickers on the scoresheet.
On Friday night, in the CWFL Link Up Vauxhalls Friday Night division, Halton Borough Town beat Barnston 5-0 thanks to strikes from Sam Starkey 2, Wade Muscart, Liam Fitzmaurice and Ben Forster. In the CWFL Link Up Great Sankey Friday Night division, Cromwell Park and Forrest FC each scored one point in their 1-1 encounter, with George Scott and Ollie Fletcher being the respective scorers. In the last game of the night, Albion Sports FC beat Atlas Sheds FC 5-2 with a hat trick from Simon Cade, Ben Brown and Bailey Duffield. Max Steele and Cam Jones responded for Atlas.
Despite the incredible decision by the Wirral Borough Council to cancel their pitches on a beautiful fall weekend, the CWFL have confirmed that all other games are on. Unitor AFC is still atop the CWFL Queensferry Sports Premier Division after goals from Danny Whitehead 3, Leon Jones, Derek Taylor, Vinnie O’Toole 2, John Mearns 2, Leon Bowker and Lewis Clarke earned them an 11-1 victory outside at Upton JFC Youth.
Waggon & Horses, second, scored debutant Sam Buckley in his 4-1 win over Chester Nomads III. Other goals from Caleb Rose, James Henry and Nahidur Rahman earned them all three points. Blacon Youth also won 4-1 in their home game against Runcorn Sports III thanks to strikes from Damien Rowley, Charlie Cottis, Jack Rowland and Robbie Joinson.
Connor Howley scored for the Hoole Rangers in their 4-1 loss to Higher Bebington Kelma whose goals were achieved thanks to a hat-trick from Andy Simpson and Jamie Balderton. Fin Onwemene was a consolation for Shaftesbury Youth as they lost 5-1 to Hooton with their goals coming from Ben Smith 2, Richie Feightman, Joel Whalley and Daniel Cross.
Black Horse won 2-1 over Neston Nomads Reserves with goals from Kynan Mason and Chris Davies. Cestrian Alex lost 4-3 to Helsby despite goals from Luke Peaker 2 and Will Kitchen.
