Vote for your favorite National Football League team

It’s been seven long years — and counting — since the city of St. Louis hasn’t had a National Football League team.

The Rams left St. Louis after the 2015 season to return to the lights and glitz of Los Angeles – the city from which they came to St. Louis for the 1995 season. Adding insult to injury, the Rams – a league doormat in their final seasons in St. Louis — have become a powerhouse, winning one Super Bowl while playing in another.

That said, the void of not having an NFL team still lingers in the area. Or can he? Do you miss the NFL? Are you still rooting for the Rams or have you adopted another team to follow? Or not at all ?

The latest Belleville News-Democrat poll wants to know if you have a favorite NFL team, specifically choosing from the Rams, Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts. There are also picks for no team, the NFL is dead to me and one other unlisted team. Voting closes at 11:59 p.m. Thursday.

To be clear, this poll is not scientific. In fact, we invite you to vote as many times as you wish. This is for fun, BND readers. We expect to release the results later this week after the poll closes.
